Our family had a wonderful time at this beautiful lake house on Ossipee Lake. The views were absolutely stunning — peaceful mornings on the deck and gorgeous sunsets over the water. The home was comfortable, clean, and perfectly set up for a family get-together. Melissa, the owner, is a great host — friendly, responsive, and made sure everything was just right for our stay. We had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our time together. Can’t wait to come back next year! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a true lakeside escape.

I asked my seven-year-old grandson what he liked most about our Sandy Point vacation and his answer was, “Just being on the peninsula.” That about sums it up. What an ideal spot, with beautiful lake views wherever you look, lots of equipment to enjoy the water, plenty of outdoor spaces, gorgeous sunsets, and a spacious and well-equipped home. After a boat ride around the lake, we all agreed that Sandy Point was the perfect place, and our week there was unforgettable​

Perfect for our family to enjoy a very safe, homey, and lovely space. We appreciated all the amenities both inside and out. (great big working kitchen, huge tub in bathroom, TVs in rooms, kayaks, paddle boards and games etc.) The lake and mountain views from the property and the sunrise and sunsets provide such beautiful beginnings and endings each day.

This is a really unique property, surrounded on three sides by the lake, with excellent sunrise and sunset views. It’s amazing to look out and see water from just about every window. The deck is huge and welcoming, and we appreciated the ready access to kayaks and paddleboards provided by the owner. The lake water was clean and clear, with a sandy bottom that made wading out fun. There was some boat traffic, but nothing overly annoying – and the weekdays were downright peaceful. Inside, we loved the den with it’s absolutely massive leather sectional couch. It’s not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

The house is great, beautiful location and the views are absolutely amazing. There is plenty to do in the area with lots of beautiful hikes nearby.

The house was wonderful, much bigger than expected, with lots of living space and stunning bedrooms with views. The location is quite exceptional – out on a peninsula with an incredible bay perfect for paddle boarding, swimming and kayaking with the equipment provided. We had kids ages from 3 to 7 and they loved playing on the beaches and grassy areas around the house (of which there are many). Finally – a well equipped kitchen allowed us to feed the family for three meals a day (love the range cooker). Hopefully we’ll be back!​

Everything was perfect — great kitchen, two nice beaches, the house had everything we could want . Have stayed in the Lakes Region for the past 19 years — Mostly on Winnipesaukee — Ossipee was fantastic and the Bays at Sandy Point was even better. The location here is amazing, I felt like we were on a cruise ship with water on all three sides. The location alone is worth booking for, but the house is also pretty nice ;-). The kayaks and paddle board were awesome and convenient. Kitchen and dining and living areas were clean and comfortable – just perfect. WiFi was fast and had great range. Master bedroom was awesome, the other bedrooms were comfortable. The 4th bonus room was easily accessible through the deck, otherwise through the 3rd bedroom and shared bathroom.​

A wonderful setting on a peninsula with water views on three sides. The water was perfect for swimming as it was shallow and then got gradually deeper. There is a sandy beach on two sides of the house. It is a clean and spacious contemporary home with a very large deck to sit or eat on. The furniture was comfortable in all of the rooms. The house is on a cove and there was little boat traffic during the week. That made it easy to swim and use the kayaks and paddle boats. We sat outside by the lighthouse a lot because of the refreshing daily breeze and the shade the trees provided. Fire pit was enjoyable at night. We even made s’mores. Lots of stars and birds to see including eagles, loons, and kingfishers!​
